With finals inevitably approaching, the pressure to get good grades is becoming more and more unbearable. I found senior Camille Rogers staked out in the Dyson Café with what appeared to be a look of determination, and large stack of Psychology books.

“This is the second class I’m skipping today,” she told me. “I’m studying for a test at 6:30.”
Skipping a class to study for another class. I wish I could say I haven’t heard of students doing this before, but I have. The pressure to get homework done in addition to the pressure of finding an internship for the spring and a job after graduation is enough to keep a student up at night.
“The stress is unbearable,” says Rogers. “I feel guilty for skipping class but studying is just taking priority over my one-credit elective classes right now.”
