#Marist: Trends for the week of October 29 – November 4

1. Hunger Walk

Marist had its annual Hunger Walk Wednesday, October 30th.  The walk started at 12 p.m.  in front of Champagnat, where participants then walked a route that leads across campus and through the south gate on to route 9 until returning back through the main gate and in front of Champagnat.

2. Men’s Soccer beats Siena

Freshmen Tudor Brata and Dylan MacVane score their first career goals leading the Marist Men’s soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Siena Wednesday night at Tenney Stadium.    

3. Halloween at Marist


The Marist baseball team were among many participating in dressing up for Halloween.  Elsewhere, students are reminiscing on a potential Halloween fun.

4. Barstool Returns

It’s that time again as Barstool makes its return to the Marist College scene.  Here are some students’ take on the event in its entirety.

5. Marist Football beats Jacksonville 42-35

The Marist College football team beat Jacksonville 42-35 in a PFL conference match Saturday afternoon.  The win puts Marist (6-3 overall,  5-1 PFL), in a three-way tie for first place.  Marist has clinched its first winning season since 2009.

6. Potential new look for Marist

More changes may soon come to the Marist campus with the proposal for a new 450-bed residence hall.  The hall would replace Gartland.
